Ski Boot Fitting, Inc.
Dividing their time between a full-service location at the base of Vail Mountain and a shop at the summit, SBF staff members ski over 100 days a year. Their on-snow backgrounds in ski instruction, coaching, racing, freestyle, ski patrol, and international competition coupled with in-store experience add up to over 100 years of cumulative experience. Staff members are teachers or graduates of MasterFit University.
Chris Wiberg has worked in the ski retail industry for ten years as a boot fitter, ski tuner, or shop manager. He brings to SBF an intuitive mechanical knowledge of how ski equipment works and he has designed and built tools that are used to evaluate stance and alignment. During the summers, Chris can be found at White Bear Boatworks in Minnesota, working on boat restoration and sailboat rigging.
